Priyanka Chopra Dating

The Bollywood actress turned international star Priyanka Chopra is superbusy these days with her work. It has been a long time that she has officially dated someone. But that has not stopped people from linking her name with other stars. It was two years back at the Emmy Awards when she had presented an award with the Avengers: Infinity War star Tom Hiddleston. And it was since then that she had been rumoured to be dating him.

A source had earlier told an international daily about the two of them saying, “Tom had his arm around her and held her close. Afterwards, Tom and Priyanka talked closely and were holding hands at one point for a few moments. Priyanka fixed Tom’s bow-tie and then the two kissed on both cheeks.”

The actress was recently at Andy Cohen’s talk show. She was accompanied by the actor Sebastian Stan. At the show, she was asked if the rumours of her dating Tom were true. To this, PeeCee reacted by saying, “We were presenting for like 10 minutes. I met him for 15 minutes. We were behind the curtains for 10 minutes where he was adjusting my dress since it had a long train. We had to figure out to manipulate not tripping.”

Talking about the professional front of the actress, she is currently busy in promoting her American TV series Quantico 3. Priyanka is also going to be seen in Hollywood films like Isn’t It Romantic and A Kid Like Jake. The actress has recently signed a Bollywood project which is going to be her comeback in the country. She will be working with Salman Khan in the film Bharat.

Rani Mukerji Married

When Rani Mukerji tied the knot with Yash Raj Films’ Aditya Chopra, away from the prying eyes of the media, in Italy, a lot of her detractors thought that the actress might not get back to films. But Rani silenced her critics with the powerful Mardaani in 2014, that marked her comeback in films after her marriage.
Rani was away from the arclights again, for four years, before taking the box office by storm in her just-released film Hichki. In between, Rani became a mother. She and Aditya welcomed their first child, daughter Adira, in 2015. In an interaction with the Indian Express, Rani said that the ‘glow’ on her face these days was more because of her daughter than the success of Hichki.

“The glow is thanks to my daughter. But yes, the happiness is also because Hichki is a success. Success this time meant a lot because there are basic prejudices that come with married actresses and those who are mothers. How we are a dead commodity. We don’t sell and that no one wants to see us. Then to actually have an audience that showers so much love on you and tells you, ‘We don’t care you are married or a mother. We just want to see you on screen.’ That validation matters a lot because as a professional, I am the same girl,” said Rani.

Mukerji, who turned 40 this year, also opened up about the ‘stigma’ that is attached to married actresses in Bollywood. “Just because I got married and had a baby, nothing changed in me. I am the same actor. I don’t know why this stigma has been attached to actresses that once we want to have a life of our own, we have to give up on our other love. Actors don’t get this. They have a successful career and parallelly lead their normal lives. Only actresses are made to choose marriage late in their lives because they feel our commodity dies once we are married,” Mukerji said.

Rani then went on to reveal why she fell in love with Aditya Chopra, and eventually married him. The most important reason was ‘respect’.

“It was only when I found love in acting and I felt it came natural to me that I continued. Then I waited for love to happen because I was always a hopeless romantic and that’s why I have done so many romantic films,” said Rani.

“So, it was important for me to get married to someone I love and respect. Being an achiever in acting profession, you seldom get people you can respect. You get people whom you can love, but respect is far and rare. These were two of my criteria and Adi has been someone I have always respected. He is a great entrepreneur and leader who is very encouraging and loyal to his people. These are the things rare in the industry because in a place where people respect you for a Friday, his respect for you is for your craft regardless of the success,” said the Talaash actress.

Rani and Aditya have been married for four years now. The couple’s wedding took place in April 2014, in Italy.

Cheating Case Against Actress

Urvashi Rautela, who was last seen in thriller film Hate Story 4, has approached Mumbai Police after she found that a fake Aadhaar card was used to book a room in her name at a five-star hotel in Bandra.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the actress was attending an event at the hotel, and later one of the staff informed her about this issue. “Around 10:30 pm on Tuesday, a hotel employee told her that a room was booked in her name. She denied having done so and immediately went through the hotel’s booking details. It was found that the booking was done online. Investigators are also scanning the IP address records to find from where the booking was done,” a police source told Mumbai Mirror.

Urvashi Rautela told the media: “I asked my secretary about it and learnt that no booking was done. Someone has misused my name and photograph on the Aadhaar card to book a room in the hotel. However, the Aadhaar number didn’t belong to me.” Police have registered a case under section 420 (cheating) of Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of Information Technology Act.

On the professional front, Urvashi’s last film Hate Story 4 directed by Vishal Pandya, and starring Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena and Ihana Dhillon did well at the box office. The film raked in Rs 18.25 crore in its first week at the box office.

Disha Patani Dating

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are only a few films old in Bollywood industry. But their personal lives have provided more fodder for gossip mills than their body of work. Their public appearances have caught the fancy of many and it’s been a while since the rumour of their link-up has been doing the rounds.
Back in 2016, Tiger and Disha turned up the heat with their crackling chemistry in single Befikra, and now two years later, the rumoured lovebirds will romance each other on the big screen. Tiger and Disha, who are often spotted in each other’s company, will be seen together in Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 2, and their fans can’t keep calm.

When asked about the link-up rumour, Tiger told Times of India that he’s “good friends” with Disha, and likes to hang out with her. “We always go around all the time. Going around doesn’t mean we’re dating. You do go around with friends, right? I go around with my guy friends also, which no one cares about. Besides, have Disha and I ever indulged in PDA or anything. Today, I can say that she is one of those few people who I can trust implicitly and is very open, straightforward and honest. I don’t have too many friends and I don’t open up easily with people, but she’s an exception,” he told the daily. But at the same time, he’s happy that their chemistry has got their fans talking about Baaghi 2.

“And all this curiosity around whether our relationship is true or not is good for our film. People are eager to see our chemistry,” he added.

Aishwarya Rai harassment in all industries

Last year the #metoo movement became a rage in across the globe giving many women the courage and voice to speak up against harassment at workplace. Since then, women from various walks of life including actress have spoken openly about it. Many Bollywood celebrities too opened up about harassment and a few also shared their traumatic experience.
The recent actress who spoke about this issue is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She, however, doesn’t feel that sexual harassment just exist in the film industry but everywhere else.

In a recent interview with the Telegraph, during her visit to Sydney, Aishwarya said: “It has brought out a lot of conversation and sharing. The good thing is that people are talking. I don’t think this needs to restrict itself to one part of the world. But this idea does not limit itself to show business or the film industry. It is people discussing it from all walks of life”

During the movement, Harvey Weinstein’s alleged harassment assault on actresses made the news. There were also reports on how the former Miss World narrowly escaped Weinstein’s harassment advances toward her.

Simone Sheffield, talent manager, was quoted in the report by variety.com as saying, “I use to manage Indian actress Aishwarya Rai. While dealing with Harvey I found it comical how hard he tried to get Aishwarya alone. But he was a p**… looked and acted like a big bully p**. He asked me to leave the meeting numerous times and I politely declined. When we were leaving his office, he cornered me and said, ‘What do I have to do to get her alone?’ I told him to kiss my black a**. When Ash and I returned to our hotel, I sent Harvey a steel p** trough filled with DIET COKE as a thank you gift for the meeting. Yes, we did do business and yes, he eventually threatened me. Told me I’d never work in this business, blah blah blah…what I said to him, I can’t print. But you can be sure, I never gave him the opportunity to even breathe on my client.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya’s next is a comedy-drama Fanne Khan, where she plays the role of a singer. It is also rumored that she has given her nod to star in the remake of Woh Kaun Thi? (1964) that featured legendary actors Manoj Kumar and Sadhana, in lead roles. The actress would apparently romance Shahid Kapoor in the film.

Veteran Actress Rape

The defence lawyer of the businessman, accused of raping a veteran actress on Friday refuted the allegation and said that both are husband and wife, which falsifies the charge of rape against him.
Veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman has registered a rape case against a businessman in Mumbai.

According to ANI, the accused has been arrested and will be produced in court today. The rape case has been transferred to the crime branch and the accused was arrested last night. Further investigations in the case are underway.

Zeenat Aman, one of the most sought-after actresses from the 1970s and the 1980s, had approached Mumbai Police in January regarding a molestation and stalking case against the same businessman.

Aishwarya Rai Fake Passport

In a raid by the special operations group (SOG) at a Vadodara residence, officials found an unexpected document amongst other fake papers.

As the officials were raiding the house of one Premchandra Khandelwal after a tip-off, they came across a forged passport in the name of Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai, according to media reports. The fake passport mentions Aishwarya Rai passport number, photo, date of birth and birth place.

The photocopy also mentions that the passport was renewed on May 2, 2006. The police are now investigating the matter to find out how the accused got a copy of the actor passport.

Four persons were arrested during the raid for allegedly using fake documents to send people abroad.

John Abraham on Rash Driving Case

In a relief to John Abraham, Bombay High Court on Friday granted the Bollywood actor bail, hours after he was taken into police custody when a sessions court dismissed his plea against the 15-day imprisonment awarded to him in a 2006 rash driving case.

“Considering the fact that the victims suffered only simple injuries and the accused has been on bail throughout, he (John) may be released on bail,” Justice R.C. Chavan said ordering the release of the actor and suspending his sentence. Women were injured in the incident. Abraham(39) was asked to deposit Rs 20,000 to secure the bail.

The actor counsel Abad Ponda earlier said no negligence or rashness in driving was shown by Abraham and the injuries to the two victims were simple in nature.

He said the actor had himself taken the victims to the hospital after the accident. When the judge asked if Abraham had tried to settle the matter with the injured, his lawyer said attempts to sort out the issue failed to fructify.

“Since the accused is a celebrity, such matters get publicised and hence a settlement could not be worked out,” Ponda said.

The Sessions Court earlier in the day dismissed Abraham plea challenging the 15-day simple imprisonment awarded to him by the trial court.

Upholding his conviction, Sessions Judge N.V. Navkhar ordered his detention, following which he was taken into police custody.

The court also rejected the actor plea seeking time to surrender before the trial court following which he quickly moved the High Court for relief.

On October 14, 2010, the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Bandra had convicted Abraham in the case of rash driving in which two persons were injured and sentenced him to a 15-day jail term.

He was, however, granted bail the same day. A fortnight later, the model-actor filed an appeal in the Sessions Court against the conviction.

His appeal stated that “judge has misconstrued and has, without applying the principles relating to the acts of rashness and criminal negligence, convicted the applicant (John)”.

The incident occurred on April 8, 2006, when Abraham rammed his Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle into a bicycle on Carter Road in suburban Bandra, injuring two people – Shyam Kasbe (22) and Tanmay Majhi (19).

According to police, the actor was returning from Maureen Wadia Gladrags show and the victims were going home after closing their shop when the mishap happened.

The police later booked Abraham under IPC Sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).

The actor in his application before the high court challenging the sessions court order and seeking bail has said the victims, during their cross examination before the magistrate’s court, had not specifically said that they were hit by his bike.

The petition cited Manjhi statement during his cross examination according to which Abraham bike was 35 feet away when he fell down.

“I do not know how I fell and suffered injuries,” he had said in his deposition.

“Hence it is clear that the incident did not happen due to John ramming his bike into the cycle. The accident is because of some other reason. There is no material to show that John was riding the bike in a rash and negligent manner. AT the most, he should be fined under section 279 of IPC instead of being imprisoned,” the application states.(PTI)
